Project Day Session - Saturday 21st March

£70.00

10-4.30pm

This one day project session is exactly like the multi week project sessions, just as a one off day session. Sometimes you can’t manage to commit to a multi week block, or you just want to have a really decent amount of time to get cracking with a project. After many requests for more day sessions this is the first of two running this term. There is another session on Saturday January 31st you can book here.

A whole day to work on your project, get help and advice on tricky bits or just get your hear down and focus with uninterrupted, sewing bliss.  The session will run 10-4.30.

You can bring any project you like to this session.

Please note this is a supported sewing session, and not a fully tutored class. You should be very confident using your machine and have completed some projects on your own.

These are unstructured classes designed to be a time when you can make the use of the studio, get settled with your project and have me on hand for any queries or technical help as you work. You can bring your own machine and will get a table to yourself to work away. All the additional tools and equipment the studio has to offer will be available during the sessions, and I will have a selection of threads and basic haberdashery if you happen to have forgotten anything. More specialist items (such as zips, fastenings etc) and a small range of basic fabrics and interfacing will be available to purchase in the sessions as well.

Who is this for?

These are designed to be supported, self directed sessions, rather than full tutored workshops, and setting up the machine and basic operations from scratch won’t be covered. In addition full tuition is not provided. I will be on hand if you need guidance with certain techniques or on tricky elements. If you are not sure if this session is right for you, please feel free to get in touch directly at rachel@hackleydesignstudio.com with any questions.
